Event Description/Concept-

Introducing a new, outdoor daytime festival celebrating local electronic music culture in the North of the island, Mountain View Innovation Centre is situated on 25 acres of private land with breath-taking views of the Manx countryside. Volume Events brings to you another unique and picturesque experience – “Volume at Mountain View”

The concept of this event is not only to showcase the Island’s local talent but to introduce elements of the scenic ‘Café Del Mar’ to the rolling Manx hills. After exploring the highs and lows of music over the last three years, we are now offering an escapist experience this Summer to whomever wishes to dance with us.

There will be catering and a fully licenced bar throughout the day, along with on-site entertainment including our reputable partners Mad Jack Axe Throwing. Festival production, provided to you by ELS, comprises of a festival-style stage and lighting, topped-off with one of the Island’s finest audio systems manufactured by KV2 Audio.

This festival is organised and run by local electronic music label Volume Events. Festival partners for this event include Mountain View Innovation Centre, Babbages Bistro, Event Lighting Services (ELS) & Mad Jacks Axe Throwing.

What is the drug policy?

There is zero tolerance drug policy at this event. Anyone found in possession of any illegal substances on-site will be dealt with by the appropriate authorities.

Where is it located?

(Address), on Jurby Road towards Lezayre (2 minutes outside of Ramsey town centre)

When is it? What are the running hours?

Saturday, 6th August 2022 – 1PM to 8PM

Will there be any live bands?

There will be no Live bands at this event, just local DJ’s.

When is it best to get there?

Last entry to the event will be at 4PM. Guests are advised to arrive at the location at the earliest possible time.

What is the safest way to exit the site?

Guests are advised not to leave the site unless via a means of transportation from the drop-off/collection point at the venues lower car park. (i.e. Buses, Taxis, Lifts)

Is the event indoors?

The festival is outdoors and will be situated on the lawns surroundings Mountain View Innovation Centre.

How can I get there?

There will be free mini-bus services provided for all ticket holders, with collection from Ramsey bus station to and from Mountain View Innovation Centre. We do not advise on-site parking.

How can I get to the collection point?

Bus Vannin services 3 & 3A return to Douglas, 5, 5C & 5J & 6A return back too Peel, Taxi’s will also run as usual.

Will there be food & drink?

Babbages Bistro will be providing the catering and bar services through the proceedings of the event (Own alcohol & food is not permitted on-site)

Where can I find the festival line-up?

The line-up for the event will include Volume Resident DJ’s and other guests, the full line-up to be announced closer to the date.

Will there be disabled access?

Yes, there will be full disabled to all facilities of the festival, including food, drinks and lavatories.

Is there a first aid point?

Safety on set (SOS) will be providing full first aid coverage for the event.

Is it possible to charge your mobile phone?

No.

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes, more information will be provided on-site.

Can I access the site with animals?

No.

Can I smoke?

Yes, there will be designated smoking areas and receptacles on-site to dispose of butts.

Will there be children allowed?

No. This event is strictly 18+ and identification will be required and checked upon entry.
